Pupils move into new schools

The people of Oakley turned out in large numbers on Friday to see the opening of the village’s new school campus. Pupils from Inzievar and Holy Name PC primaries walked side by side into their new plush new schools, which are housed in the same building.

The two schools are based in their own parts of the building but the children will share the playground and dining facilities. Holy Name has an oratory with stained-glass panels designed by pupils and will be used for religious ceremonies.
