Florence is Lanarkshire's grand old lady at 107

A woman thought to be Lanarkshire’s oldest resident has celebrated her 107th birthday. Born in Swansea, Florence Price moved to Blantyre in 1992 to be with her son, Peter, who was then minister at Blantyre Old Parish Church, and his wife Mary.

She moved with the couple to Bothwell when the Rev Price retired in 1997.
