Into Africa to help kids

When members of a Paisley church travel thousands of miles to Africa, they will not only be spreading the word of God. For the caring group from the Church of the Nazarene will also be rolling up their sleeves and helping to refurbish a children’s ward at a hospital in the town of Manzini, in central Swaziland.

Already, more than £6,000 has been raised for the trip that has been dubbed 'Mission to Swaziland 2007 – A Window of Hope'.

A total of 15 members of the Paisley church will take part in the African adventure and they are relishing the opportunity.

Mission organiser Cheryl Adair said: “Although I’m organising the event, it really is the Body of Christ that is going out to Africa."
