Restoration grants earmarked for Scottish churches

The Heritage Lottery Fund has earmarked £1.4 million in restoration funding for nine churches around Scotland. However, the projects must succeed in a second application before securing the full grants.

The churches involved are Cromarty East Church; St Magnus Scottish Episcopal Church, Lerwick; Scottish Episcopal Church of St Mary and St Peter, Montrose; Tillicoultry Parish Church; St Columba's Church, Glenrothes; Reid Memorial Church, Edinburgh; St John's Renfield Church, Glasgow; St Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Whiteinch, Glasgow; and St Teresa's of Lisieux, Possilpark, Glasgow.
