Churches join for Spring Festival

Dumbarton churches unite next weekend for a three day Spring Festival. The event, organised by Dumbarton Churches Together, is the third to take place in the town.

The festivities begin on Friday, April 20, with a concert by Clydebank Salvation Army Band in St Augustine’s Church at 7.30pm. Admission is free and tea and coffee will be served.

The following evening St Patrick’s Church hall hosts a ceilidh featuring music by the Voice Box Ceilidh Band at 7.30pm. A light supper will be provided and there will be a bar. Tickets, priced £5, are available by calling 01389 732098 or 767509.

The weekend festivities conclude with a Spring Prom praise evening in St Augustine’s Church at 7.30pm. Admission is free and there will be tea and coffee.
