Loanhead church transformed
The transformation of Loanhead Parish Church has been completed. The refurbishment of the building concluded with roof work and installation of new toilets. This was funded by landfill tax money, distributed by Wren on behalf of the Waste Recycling Group.Minister Rev Graham Duffin said: "This is the last part of a project, which has also seen the pews removed and replaced with seats."
The aim of the work was to make the church building more flexible.
"It will allow the church to be used by different groups – and this has already started with the local gala committee using the church for an exhibition of old photographs," he added.
