Retiral events for popular Rev

The Rev Colin Douglas has retired from the Team Ministry of the Livingston Ecumenical Parish. He conducted his final service on Easter Sunday at St Columba’s Church, in Craigshill.

Colin came to the Ecumenical Parish in 1987, following a 14-year ministry in Airdrie.

He was a very popular minister to four of the five congregations in the parish over his 20 years in the town and, latterly, was responsible for the congregations of St Paul’s and St Columba’s.

A number of organised events were held in recent weeks to mark Colin’s retiral with a ‘This is Your Life’ evening being the major surprise event.
