'Suspect had her blood on his watch'

Traces of Angelika Kluk's blood were found on murder accused Peter Tobin's watch, a court heard yesterday.

And prints on the tape used to gag her matched Tobin's DNA profile. Jurors also heard that jeans regularly worn by the accused were heavily stained with Angelika's blood.

DNA matching the accused was found on the Polish student's underwear.

Tobin's trial at the High Court in Edinburgh resumed yesterday after breaking for two days because he was ill.

He denies raping and murdering 23-year-old Angelika in September last year.
