Church aims to raise £100,000 in 50 days
Members and friends of Cupar Old Parish Church have been set an ambitious challenge - to raise £100,000 in 50 days. The figure is the final amount required to allow the C4ward project to proceed this summer.
Over the last four years, the congregation's property development group has worked tirelessly on preparing a grand scheme that includes the repair and refurbishment of the church and the extension and development of the hall.
At the end of April the tender reports were returned and the total cost of C4ward — which also includes a £60,000 commitment to build a home for abandoned boys in Ica, Peru — amounts to £939,000.
