Addict jailed for £10 church theft

A man who stole £10 from Episcopal church offices in Perth has been jailed for two months.

Stuart Lilley, 32, sneaked in through an open window at the Perth office of the Diocese of St Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane.

He confessed to police who were talking to him later about another matter.

At Perth Sheriff Court yesterday, he admitted the theft from the Scottish Episcopal Church last June.
