40 months for Buckfast thug after attack

A boozed up skinhead has been jailed for 40 months after he rammed a broken Buckfast bottle into a man's face - because he didn't like the length of his hair.

Airdrie Sheriff Court heard how Christopher Henery, 21, suffered two horrific cuts, which needed 30 stitches and will leave him scarred for life.

Drunken teenage thug Anthony Bonnar, 17, from Glasgow, guzzled several bottles of tonic wine throughout the day, before carrying out the vicious and totally unprovoked attack on a motorway bus journey into the city.

Full story at the Evening Times, Glasgow.
