Cardinal celebrates final mass at Fife church

The final mass has been celebrated at Leven's only Catholic church. St Peter's Church in Durie Street staged its valedictory service on Saturday, conducted by Cardinal Keith O'Brien.

The parishes of St Peter's and St Agatha's in Methil are amalgamating while the Leven building is to be sold, with the proceeds going to the new linked parish.
