Milestone year for Holy Trinity Church, Kilmarnock

A church built on the first railway terminus in Scotland has been helping people at life’s crossroads for 150 years.

Holy Trinity Scottish Episcopal Church at the cross in Portland Road, Kilmarnock, is celebrating its 150th anniversary.

A special Dedication Festival is being held on Sunday, August 12 to mark the occasion.

The Reverend Peter M Douglas leads services in the church, which has a congregation roll of 400.

In the past two decades, the Holy Trinity has produced five episcopal ministers from its followers.
