John Geddes Sim
Obituary of John Geddes Sim, Church of Scotland minister; born 5 Jan, 1921, in Renfrewshire; died 14 September, 2007, aged 86.Rev John Sim was a noted parish minister in Kirkcaldy, where he served for 27 years. He also made a considerable contribution to the development of media policy in the Church of Scotland, acting as convener to the committee that organised that increasingly vital role from 1976-80.
A journalist by inclination if not training, he wrote for Life and Work for 50 years and for the Evening Times for ten. And yet he was far more as well.
