Inter-Faith Week to host more events than ever

Edinburgh's Inter-Faith Association has unveiled its largest programme of events to mark the city's Inter-Faith Week, which begins later this month.

Key events include a conversation between Shaykh Imam Ibrahim Mogra, the inter-faith representative for the Muslim Council of Britain, and Right Reverend Brian Smith, the Scottish Episcopal Bishop of Edinburgh.

The meeting was arranged as a response to a call earlier this year for Christian leaders to do more to encourage further understanding and co-operation within the global community.

The programme is so large it runs far longer than the national Inter-Faith Week, from November 25 until December 2, with Edinburgh's celebrations taking place until December 13.
