Boost for church youth project

Children and staff at Dunbar Primary School raised £1,044 for a local church youth project by having a dress down day.

The Dunbar Area Christian Youth Project employs youth worker Richard Taylor to work with local young people through schools, outreach work and special projects in the town.

He offers practical support to the primary school such as school camps, training the school cross-country team and teaching film and animation skills at no cost to the school.

The project also contributes to the religious education of children through classes and school assemblies, and Richard also runs a popular Bible club called the Bible Brainiacs.
