Bishopbriggs congregation is building for the future
A massive fundraising campaign has enabled members at Cadder Parish Church to submit a successful bid to buy the North Hall, in Cadder Road, after the owners put the building up for sale.The Bishopbriggs church has leased the hall for years, but faced the prospect of losing the premises unless £245,000 could be found to buy it.
Congregation members rallied to the cause and have so far raised around £175,000 through donations and interest-free loans.
