Wife murder charge churchman dead
A retired Kirk minister charged with the murder of his elderly wife has been found dead. Rev Richard Coley, 70, was arrested in July after the body of Isabella Coley, 71, was found at their home in the Mount Vernon area of Glasgow.Mr Coley was charged with murder and remanded in custody before being released on bail.
He was minister at Victoria Tollcross Church of Scotland between 1971 and 2004.
