Golden opportunity for congregation to celebrate

Members of the Roman Catholic community in Sutherland gathered to celebrate the golden jubilee of the only Catholic church in the county yesterday.

The Archbishop of Glasgow, Mario Conti, was the principal celebrant at the mass at Christ the King Church in Brora.

Several other local priests and a monsignor also attended, along with around 80 members of the congregation.
