Youth project takes God to the streets
The church in Kirkliston is hoping to reach out to the local child and youth population. Kirkliston Parish Church's youth fellowship has recently purchased a van and modified it to become at Christian Action Bus (CAB) where youngsters can meet. The van, which can accommodate up to eight people, is fitted out with seating to allow youngsters the opportunity to take part in activities such as scripture reading, listening to music or just talking to church leaders.
Christina Pearson, CAB project leader, said: For a long time we have felt that there is a great need to take Christ's teaching out to as many young people as possible.
"In this age we find that young people are looking for something and we feel we can now provide it."
