Christian Aid appoints six new board members
International development agency Christian Aid has appointed six new trustees to join the 14 current members. The new board members were selected by Christian Aid's 41 sponsoring churches in Britain and Ireland at its annual general meeting (AGM) on 27 November 2007.They include George McSorley, a fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts and the CEO of Glasgow-based charity Unity Enterprise. He brings a wealth of business experience to his new role as Trustee. He is also Chair of the Scottish Christian Aid Committee.
