Easter absent from holidays
Children went back to school across Shetland this week with their next "Easter Holidays" not even at Easter!Term dates confirmed by the Shetland Islands Council show the next school holidays running from Monday 31st March until Friday 11th April. Good Friday falls on 21st March.
Some parents and religious leaders say the Easter school holidays should include Easter.
But education leaders say the holiday dates help schools set terms of equal length.
