Prayer is focus for Churches Together project with BBC

Churches Together in Britain and Ireland are working in partnership with BBC Radio 4 and BBC Local Radio for a Lent project called Pathways of Prayer.

BBC Radio 4's Sunday Worship and Daily Service will take up themes, or 'Paths', of holiness, social justice, devotion, sacrament, contemplation and charsim.

Among those taking part will be Commissioner Betty Matear (Moderator of the Free Churches), Rev Canon Bob Fyffe (General Secretary of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland) and Bishop Joe Aldred (Secretary for Minority Ethnic Christian Affairs, Churches Together in England).

A study guide and complementary materials will also be available from both the Churches Together and BBC websites.
