Rev Frederick Fulton

News that the Rev Fred Fulton had died peacefully at home in Braemar on 5th January was received with much sadness within the congregation of Dornoch Cathedral, particularly by those of the older generation who shared his ministry in Dornoch.

Mr Fulton was ordained to the ministry of the Church of Scotland in 1942 and came to Dornoch in 1958 when the post-war blues were still evident and changes were in the air.

In his 17 years in Dornoch he came to be much loved and appreciated by his congregation, as much for his style as a pastor as for his long and devoted years of service.
