Biscuits bring a reminder of home for our soldiers in Iraq

Kind-hearted members of Craigneuk and Belhaven Parish Church in Wishaw have been sending parcels out to troops in Iraq.

The congregation have been posting biscuits to members of the armed forces.

But they have been warned not to post chocolate biscuits — because of the heat!

A minister serving as chaplain to two units just outside Basra got in touch with the church asking if they could help out with a boost to morale. Now, over 60kg of biscuits are winging their way to Iraq from Wishaw.

Full story at the Wishaw Press.
