Caring city needs more help or it will collapse

Overseas charity Glasgow the Caring City is facing a cash crisis - because of the Glasgow Airport terror attack and the world credit crunch.

Reverend Neil Galbraith, who founded the organisation, says it is struggling to meet the needs of the many thousands of people worldwide who depend on its help.

He wants big businesses to help with cash to allow the charity to continue its vital work.

Mr Galbraith said: "The problem is the Caring City has so many demands on, it but there is nothing coming in to support it.

"Everything is drying up because there is no longer the support for frontline charities there used to be, unless they are big organisations like Oxfam or Save The Children."
