Mass celebrates anniversary at Murthly Castle

At the end of a year of celebrations to mark the 175th anniversary of the parish community of St John the Baptist, Perth, Mass was celebrated in the chapel of St Anthony the Eremite at Murthly Castle.

Murthly Castle, and nearby Stobhall Castle, hold key links in the chain which connects the modern Catholic Church to its earliest roots. The parish was delighted to be invited to use the chapel for that special occasion by the laird, Thomas Steuart Fothringham, and his wife Anna.
