Church rejects rumours of manse sale
Suggestions that a second Lochaber manse could be sold to help finance a more central peninsula home for a minister have been rejected by church officials.They have admitted that the future of the manse at Ardgour on the Ardnamurchan peninsula had been considered as part of long-term plans but then shelved.
The future of the Ardgour manse had been called into question by opponents of a Church of Scotland proposal to sell its manse at Lochaline.
