Glenrothes by-election: Candidate profiles

The Glenrothes by-election was triggered by the death the sitting MP, John MacDougall. Here, the BBC Scotland news website profiles the candidates to have declared so far.

Lindsay Roy, Labour, who lives in Glenrothes, has been a church Elder for more than 35 years, currently for the town's St Columba's Church.

Harry Wills, Liberal Democrat, is an Elder and member of the Kirk Session of Creich, Flisk and Kilmany Church in Fife.

Morag Balfour, Scottish Socialists, is a practicing Quaker.
