Vandals trash cathedral where Madonna's son was baptised

The cathedral where Madonna's son was baptised has been trashed by vandals.

A wedding due to take place at Dornoch Cathedral yesterday had to be moved to another church.

Last night the minister, the Rev Susan Brown - who married the singer and Guy Ritchie at nearby Skibo Castle and baptised their son Rocco - was devastated.

She said: "It's heart-breaking. It was discovered at 9amyesterday. The vestry was completely turned upside down and doors were pulled out. A fire extinguisher was let loose into the church.

"There are two broken windows, one in the vestry and a leaded one in the north transept. Large wooden panels on the organ looked kicked in."
