Special city viewing focuses on Children in Conflict

Supporters of international charity Christian Aid attended a special viewing of an exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery last night.

Children in Conflict opened at the gallery in Schoolhill last month but the charity, which helped to organise the touring exhibition, decided to hold a private viewing to thank loyal supporters.

The exhibition brings together a number of artists, such as photographer Simon Norfolk, ceramic artist Emma Summers and war specialist John Keane, and focuses on different themes about conflicting countries.

Aberdeen is the only Scottish venue for the Children in Conflict exhibition, which will be on show until November 15.
