Church gets pastor after seven years without minister

A Perth church which has been without a minister for seven years has welcomed a new incumbent.

Chicago-born senior pastor Darnell Stark was inducted into Trinity Church of the Nazarene on Saturday.

Since 2001 the church’s Sunday services have been taken by locum ministers and lay readers, with Stagecoach founder Brian Souter often conducting the weekly worship.
